Slowhouse is the brainchild of husband wife duo Bradley & Anna Wall

In 2015, even before it was known as Slowhouse, Brad found himself experimenting in his garage in Detroit. He turned to woodworking as an escape from his 9-5 job and quickly became enthralled with the craft. His passion for woodworking soon turned into a full-time endeavor with commissions and support. In his early years, Brad primarily used found materials from Detroit to create the majority of his furniture and art pieces.

After starting a family (now a family of 5!), Brad and Anna sought to adopt a more relational approach to furniture. Unlike many impersonal furniture stores, they aimed to establish a company that offers a deeply personalized experience. Their studio is located on their homestead, where clients are invited to participate in the process as much as they desire. From designing concepts to selecting materials and achieving the final product, Slowhouse partners closely with clients to deliver the best possible product.

Local delivery is always included, and they prefer in-person delivery nationwide whenever feasible. Slowhouse prioritizes working with local mills for sourcing materials and utilizes low VOC finishes that ensure safety for the entire family.
